On Facebook, author (and reviewer) Adam-Troy Castro started reading Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy 2015 (guest editor: Joe Hill), and just three stories in made the following pronouncement: “On the basis of those first three stories, alone, I am ready to call this book a monument.” There’s a lot of background behind that praise that he goes into in his post which is well worth reading as well (which he couches in the context of “behind the scenes of a writer’s ego”).
